# Pumba: human and agent checkout, instant payouts

Pumba is checkout for storefronts that pays merchants instantly, whether the buyer is a person with a bank app or an AI agent with a budget. Buyers pay by ordinary bank transfer, agents pay with a verified passport, and the money lands in the merchant's own bank account in their local currency, or in USDT/USDC if they prefer.

Status: early access. We are onboarding a small group of merchants, commerce platforms and agent builders.

## The problem

- The buyer paid in seconds, but the merchant waits a day for the money.
- Agents are starting to shop on people's behalf, and most storefronts have no safe way to let them pay.
- Merchants want faster payouts to the bank account they already use, not a new wallet.

## How it works

1. **People:** buyers pay by bank transfer from any bank app. No wallet, no crypto, no new app.
2. **Agents:** an AI agent shows a verified passport before it buys, so the merchant knows who is paying and that the payment is good.
3. **You:** every paid order lands in your bank account within minutes, in your local currency. USDT or USDC if you prefer.

## Verified, not trusted

- **Known buyers:** every agent carries a verified passport stating who runs it and how much it may spend.
- **Checked payments:** each payment is checked before the order counts as paid.
- **One paid status:** bank transfers and agent payments end the same way.
